Participation Terms Witches Week
This English version is provided for your convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
§ 1 Organiser and scope
(1) The organiser of Witches Week Transylvania is Diana Fister, The Tarot Taurus, Marienstraße 15, 76689 Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany, email: diana@thetarottaurus.de, phone: +49 173 4781917 (“I”).
(2) These participation terms apply to registration for Witches Week Transylvania from 23 to 29 April 2027 in Brașov, Romania. My terms and conditions also apply. In the event of conflict, these participation terms take precedence.
§ 2 Services and no package travel
(1) You book with me exclusively the on-site programme as described on the event page at the time of your registration. This includes in particular: the witch trials tour in Brașov, the cable car ride up Tâmpa with a witchcraft workshop, the guided tour of Bran Castle, the ritual day at a private villa with hot tub, your own tarot deck, the fantasy photo shoot at Cantacuzino Castle with 10 edited photos, four dinners together (each with a main course and one drink), a personal reading with me and magical farewell gifts.
(2) Not included are travel to and from Brașov, accommodation, local transport (including to programme activities), breakfast, lunch and other meals, drinks outside the dinners mentioned, insurance and personal expenses.
(3) I do not book, arrange or sell flights, accommodation, transfers or rental cars. You book these services yourself, in your own name and at your own expense, directly with the respective provider. Local rides, for example via Uber or Bolt, are ordered and paid for by the participants themselves and shared among them. My hotel recommendations are non-binding tips; I receive no commission for them.
(4) As I only offer one type of travel service, Witches Week is not package travel within the meaning of §§ 651a et seq. BGB and not a linked travel arrangement within the meaning of § 651w BGB. The special rules for package travel therefore do not apply.
§ 3 Who can take part
(1) Witches Week is exclusively for women aged 18 and over. The programme includes rituals, meditation and a shared hot tub evening; limiting participation to women serves to protect the privacy of all participants.
(2) The group is limited to 10 participants. Spots are allocated in the order in which registrations are received.
(3) The programme requires normal physical fitness, for example longer walks in the old town and on castle grounds, stairs and a cable car ride. Please talk to me before registering if you are unsure.
§ 4 Registration and conclusion of contract
(1) You register via the registration form on my website and pay the deposit at the same time. By submitting it, you make a binding offer.
(2) The contract is concluded when I confirm your registration by email. I usually confirm within 3 working days. If the group is already full, I refund the deposit in full and, if you wish, put you on the waiting list.
§ 5 Prices and payment
(1) The participation fee is 1,190 €. The Early Bird price of 1,090 € applies to the first 5 registrations received by 31 December 2026. In accordance with § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged.
(2) When you register, you pay a deposit of 300 € via the payment service Stripe. The deposit is credited towards the participation fee.
(3) You transfer the remaining amount by 1 March 2027 at the latest to the account I give you with the invoice. You can pay the rest in one go or in instalments, as long as it has been received in full by that date. If you register after 1 March 2027, the remaining amount is due within 7 days of my confirmation.
(4) If the remaining amount is not received on time, I will remind you and set you a grace period of 7 days. If you still do not pay, I may withdraw from the contract and reallocate your spot. In this case the cancellation costs under § 7 apply.
§ 6 No right of withdrawal
Witches Week is a service related to leisure activities taking place within a fixed period. Under § 312g (2) no. 9 BGB there is therefore no right of withdrawal. Your options for cancelling the contract are set out in § 7.
§ 7 Cancellation by you
(1) You can cancel the contract at any time before Witches Week begins. To do so, send me an email to diana@thetarottaurus.de. The date your email is received is decisive.
(2) Because I book and pay for the villa, workshop leader, photographers and tours firmly in advance, I charge the following flat-rate compensation in case of cancellation:

(3) You are expressly entitled to prove that I have incurred no damage or significantly less damage. If I can reallocate your spot to someone on the waiting list, I will refund all payments minus the 300 € deposit.
(4) If you do not take part in individual programme activities, for example due to late arrival, the price will not be refunded proportionally.
(5) I strongly recommend travel cancellation insurance that also covers events and seminars, as well as flight and hotel rates that are as flexible as possible.
§ 8 Replacement participant
Until Witches Week begins, you can name another woman to take your spot at any time. This is free of charge. The replacement participant must meet the requirements of § 3 and assumes all rights and obligations under this contract. You settle any payment between yourselves directly.
§ 9 Cancellation and changes by me
(1) Witches Week takes place with a minimum of 7 participants. If this number is not reached by 1 March 2027, I may cancel the event. I will inform you by email by 2 March 2027 at the latest and refund all payments made to me in full within 14 days.
(2) If Witches Week cannot take place for reasons beyond my control, for example force majeure, official orders, a travel warning from the German Federal Foreign Office for Romania or my own serious illness, I will also refund all payments made to me in full. Further claims are excluded.
(3) Under no circumstances can I cover costs for services you have booked yourself, in particular flights and accommodation. It is therefore best to book them only once I have confirmed that the event will take place, at the latest on 2 March 2027.
(4) I may change, postpone or replace individual programme activities with equivalent ones if this is necessary due to weather, opening times, the unavailability of service providers or for safety reasons, and the overall character of Witches Week is preserved. If a workshop leader is unavailable, I may bring in an equivalent replacement. If a programme activity is cancelled without replacement, I will refund the corresponding share.
§ 10 Your responsibility
(1) You take care of valid travel documents yourself (EU citizens need a valid identity card), your timely arrival and departure and adequate insurance cover. I recommend international health insurance, travel cancellation insurance and personal liability insurance.
(2) Please be on time at the agreed meeting points. If you miss a programme activity because you are late, there is no right to make it up or to a refund.
(3) Free time, optional bar visits and anything you do outside the programme are your own responsibility.
§ 11 Health, rituals and readings
(1) Rituals, breathing exercises, meditation and the hot tub evening are voluntary. You respect your own limits and can sit out at any time. Please let me know before you travel about any health restrictions that may be relevant to the programme, for example pregnancy, cardiovascular problems or allergies. I treat this information confidentially.
(2) Witches Week is not a therapeutic or medical service. Rituals, meditations and tarot serve self-reflection and inspiration. They do not replace medical, psychotherapeutic, legal or financial advice.
(3) During rituals we work with candles and open fire. Please follow my instructions.
§ 12 Community and exclusion
(1) Witches Week thrives on respect, trust and discretion. What other participants share in rituals and readings stays within the group.
(2) Please follow the rules of the places we visit, for example in the castles and at the villa.
(3) If a participant persistently disrupts the event despite a warning or endangers herself or others, I may exclude her from further programme activities. There is then no right to a refund; I will credit any saved expenses. You bear any damage you culpably cause yourself, for example at the villa.
§ 13 Liability
(1) I am liable without limitation for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health and for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
(2) In cases of slight negligence, I am only liable if I breach an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of Witches Week possible in the first place and on which you may rely. Liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
(3) I am not liable for services you book yourself with third parties (in particular flights, accommodation, rides with Uber, Bolt or taxi, meals and activities outside the programme). The respective provider alone is responsible for these.
(4) I am only liable for loss of or damage to items you bring with you in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2.
§ 14 Photos and videos
(1) You may use the edited photos from the shoot privately and on your own social media channels. Please credit the photographer if she wishes.
(2) I will only publish photos and videos in which you can be recognised if you consented when registering. This consent is voluntary and does not affect your participation. You can withdraw it at any time by email with effect for the future.
(3) Please only publish photos of other participants with their consent.
§ 15 Data protection
(1) I only process your data to the extent necessary to carry out Witches Week. Details can be found in my privacy policy.
(2) If you are open to sharing a room, I will pass your first name and email address on to a possible roommate, but only after asking you first. The same applies to a shared group chat for coordinating before the trip.
§ 16 Final provisions
(1) German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
(2) Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
